Beechboro Physiotherapy also run high quality group Pilates classes. These classes are kept small, with a maximum of 10 people per class and consist purely of floor based mat exercises.
These classes are ideal for people who have minimal injuries and would like to strengthen and tone their whole body, or people who have participated in Studio classes and have a good idea how to perform the basic Pilates mat exercises.
The Physiotherapist taking the class will demonstrate each exercise, and quite often will provide several different variations for each exercise to cater for different fitness levels. They will also carefully watch how the exercises are being performed, and correct any technique issues as the class is running.
Our mat classes are run on a school term timetable, usually consisting of a 10 week term.
